Ok so couldn't get the bus today so heres the pics of my swatches I promised... :)

Stripes, stripes, stripes :)

Its after easter now, and I think I'm still recovering from ranking :O started a new project on stripes.. it's so weird you don't think of things when they're right infront of you but now I'm seeing stripes everywhere :) I'm basing mines on trees and bark so there very organic stripes, huge contrast on my last project ( which was based on antiques ) but I'm liking the whole new approach :)
Its a swatch project so no final line-up or final garment which I'm finding hard to get my head around, I like the idea of working towards a finish piece. This project is helping lots with presentation skills, layouts etc :) 
kinda in a rush have to catch the bus to limerick soon so I cant post pics of some of my swatches right now but tomorrow I'll have them up :)

Deadline tomorrow.... :O

Deadline is tomorrow trying to sort out all the small bits and pieces first... still need to assemble my garment.. really scared about it but hopefully it will turn out ok :) il post pics etc this weekend.. so excited just to see a finished garment at the end of it all :)

End of second week and things are going ok.. knit has to be handed up tues but I think il be ok, then we hav more time for final garment.. N iv finally decided on final design.. so excited to see it but its a long way off :( ok lots of work to but il post pics of some of the designs tonite :)

fashion ranking project...

Okay so far so good, I feel like I'm slightly behind on work I want to get my shapes completed today and have my final shapes my this evening. I got 16 swatches of fabric manipulation completed yesterday, pretty happy with that.. :D 
I'm trying to work away on my knitting at home between swatches, designs etc but I think I might leave my design work until the weekend for the knitting.
We had drawing with Phillipa yesterday, have a way better idea now on what we have to d, so went into a few charity shops up town and I couldn't really find anything, I'm thinking a men's suit jacket or something but not sure, lets hope I'll know when I see it.. :)
