Joyce Forsyth

When in Edinburgh I found this knitwear designer shop, was in such a rush for bus to airport I couldn't go in but took note of the name..
Not what I expected but then I don't know what I expected!
Colour was the first thing I noticed and it is not my taste AT ALL but I admire her for her work.
Really different to any other knitwear designer not main-stream and very cultural feel about it.

Ranking Photoshoot

I finally got around to doing a photoshoot for my ranking piece :)
My wee sister modelled for me took them in the house and outside would of rathered a different setting but had no way of transport today :(

Pattern...

Have the pattern cut out etc but need to put it all together doing that tomorrow so I'll have pics up then all going well :/

Knitting :)

Ok so I have my skirt underway should have pics up soon :)
Just thought I'd pop up some pics of some knitting I've been doing just swatches no garments :(
But I was looking through my knit design book from ranking and have a few ideas so after this skirt
I might try knit something :) I haven't been doing as much Fashion Illustration as I would like
but in the next few evenings I'm going to start back :)

Fashion Illustration

So I've been trying to practise my drawing skills, just putting different fabrics onto mannequin using different drawing materials etc...
I'm putting up my first one and some drawings I did afterwards just  to show the difference :O (really need to practise more)
Have my pattern for skirt all laid out so on fri (next day off) I'm going to make the skirt :)

Summer...

Okay I've been neglecting my blog since college ended.. :(
Have a few projects lined up based on architecture.. something completely different to the rest of my projects so I think it will be more challenging and interesting.
I'm basing it on my Semester one project (which was influenced on an arch) really liked the project and can't wait to start designs :)
I've been knitting away swatches but in really thin woo,l finding really thick yarn is way harder than I imagined :(
I'm also waiting on the book we were told to get to be delivered should be soon :)
Visited Derry recently got fabrics and two different patterns :D A skirt and top, fixing my sewing machine at the moment but once its up and running its sewing time :D
